You can make your laptop/desktop a server using XAMPP.
This will save you lots of money which you spend on a server for local work. like if you are designing a big website then you need a minimum of 1 month to design it completely. for this 1 month, you have to pay for server company. think if your laptop/desktop works as a server to save your money. this can be possible by using XAMPP.

Step 1. Go to apachefriends.org
You have visit this site to download XAMPP.
step 2. click on Download XAMPP.
click on download button to start downloading.
Step 3. Paste the file in c drive.
As the downloading is finished paste XAMPP file into C drive.
Step 4. Run the installation.
Click on file to start the installation. It take some time to install so be patience.
Step 5. Click on finish Button
As installation is completed click on finish button.
Step 6. Open the XAMPP. Start APACHE and MYSQL
Step 7. Check APACHE AND MYSQL Starts or Not.
If the color of APCHE and MYSQL appears as green. It indicated they are started otherwise Not started
