As per her reports, it is only the sperm of whales that is collected and not the substance named Ambergis. Subsequently, Kemp added that Ambergis is no less than gold to them. They consider it so serious as being one of the rare material to extract and collect. However, collecting the ambergris is considered illegal in some countries as the whales have now become a globally threatened species.
