You Jianxia, a resident of Shangai, China has broken her record for having the longest eyelashes in the world with an approximate length of 8 inches (20.5 cm). Earlier, on 28 June 2016, this lady has set a world record in the same category.
But this time with even more extended length, she asked the team of Guinness book of world record to measure the length of her eyelashes in 2021. Formerly, her eyelashes were measured to have 12.4 cm of length which has now grown by approximately 8 cms. Even now her eyelashes are continually growing. The time Jianxia noticed her eyelashes.
It was in 2015 when Jianxia observed that her eyelashes were growing continuously. During the initial phase, she even considered this an ailment. But in the later period when she managed to visit a medical consultant, she got pretty clear that this was just a genetic change and nothing lies there to worry about her growing eyelashes. Later on, Jianxia adjusted herself to be called the “lady with long eyelashes”.
A strong belief in Lord Buddha.
The longer eyelashes of You Jianxia made her believe many worldly things that she did not think of earlier. One such change she attained in learning about the enlightenment of Lord Buddha. During the interview with the Guinness world records, she said, “ It was Lord Buddha, who had gifted her such beautiful eyelashes”. She added that even if it was hard for her to live with an unusual length of her eyelashes, she has now got the habit of living with them and she is fondly in love with her eyelashes.
